In this study describe the phenotype of Fokienia hodginsii. This is the first time, this species has been microscopiced of leaf, stem, and stem structure. In Biosphere Reserve of Western Nghe An, the cone of Fokienia hodginsii appears in February and March, seeds are ripe in late December this year and early in January next year. F. hodginsii grows quite slowly and it has no regeneration buds, natural regeneration of 21 trees/ha. Fokienia hodginsii grows on steep and medium slopes, at elevations of 850 - 2,585 m, is localized in 20 communes in 6 districts, forming 3 main regions: North and Northwest; South and Southwest; and East of the biosphere reserve. This species are mostly concentrated in Vietnam - Laos border. The climate of F.hodginsii is divided into two distinct seasons, rainfall is over 1,800 mm.
